“This was an amazing experience, truly unforgettable! The food was incredible, we loved the masterclass in khinkali and khachapuri. Our host (tameda/toastmaster) created a great atmosphere, and made sure everyone was welcome and connected with each other. We were English speakers and the host organised an excellent English translator for the evening, his English was flawless and he was knowledgeable about Georgian culture and history. The logistics were all arranged for us so we didnt have to worry about anything. We left with an international set of new friends. The inclusions were clearly mentioned in the title itself, which gave us confidence in booking. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most disappointing tour experiences we’ve ever had. At the meeting point, our guide simply handed us a card preloaded with some cash for the two-way cable car ride and told us that this was all that was included. The first stop near the sulphur baths freshened us up after a late arrival to the city the night before, with a fitting portion of soup and chacha. It is good that the stops are relatively spread out, so that you get a good feeling of the city on the way. The trip was a good mixture of sight seeing, food and wine and we liked the fact that we were not rushed between places.
